The truth is that it's much easier than most people expect.
1. Meet us
Our team welcomes you in front of the São Conrado Hang Gliding Club, right next to the landing area at São Conrado Beach. We'll check you in, answer your questions, and get everything ready before heading up the mountain.
2. Drive to Pedra Bonita
The drive takes approximately 15 minutes. Along the way you'll already begin enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro.
3. Brief safety instruction
Before takeoff, your pilot will explain the entire process and guide you through a brief takeoff practice. No prior experience is required.
4. Takeoff
Just a few gentle steps. Within seconds, your feet leave the ground and Rio de Janeiro reveals itself from an entirely new perspective.
5. The flight
During the flight, you'll soar above some of Rio de Janeiro's most iconic landmarks, including Pedra da Gávea, São Conrado Beach, Two Brothers Mountain (Morro Dois Irmãos), Tijuca National Park, and the Atlantic Ocean, enjoying privileged panoramic views of the entire coastline and surrounding landscape.

Your safety is our top priority. We use state-of-the-art equipment that’s inspected regularly,
and every flight is conducted by highly experienced, certified pilots who strictly follow all
safety procedures.

Before takeoff, your pilot will give you a simple five-minute briefing and guide you through a
brief takeoff practice. All you’ll need to do is take a few easy steps during takeoff, and the
paraglider does the rest.
Weather conditions are monitored daily.
If conditions aren’t completely safe for flying, we’ll gladly reschedule your flight for the next
available date at no additional cost.
Yes. Safety always comes first. As paragliding depends on weather conditions, the flight may
be postponed if the wind or weather is not ideal for a safe operation. In these cases, we
reschedule the experience to the most convenient date, at no additional cost.
Because paragliders don’t have engines, flight time depends on wind and thermal conditions.
Most flights last between 8 and 20 minutes.
The standard weight limit for tandem paragliding is 100 kg (220 lb). This limit ensures
optimal equipment performance and maximum safety throughout the entire
experience, from takeoff to landing.
Participants must be at least 14 years old. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a
parent or legal guardian, who will sign the authorization before takeoff.
We also assess each passenger individually to ensure they meet all safety requirements.
For safety reasons, tandem paragliding isn’t recommended during pregnancy.
We’ll be delighted to welcome you after your pregnancy so you can enjoy the experience
safely.
Yes. You may bring your phone as long as it’s safely stored in a zippered pocket or secure
compartment during the flight. For the best results, we recommend enjoying the experience
while our team captures professional photos and videos.
For safety reasons and to avoid dropping objects, we don’t recommend using personal
cameras or mobile phones during the flight. Instead, we provide professional high-definition
footage captured with the latest GoPro cameras
Absolutely. Prescription glasses and sunglasses are perfectly fine during the flight.
We simply recommend making sure they’re securely fitted.
Wear comfortable clothing (sports or casual style) and closed-toe shoes.
Taking off barefoot, in flip-flops, or sandals that could fall off during the flight is not allowed.
